Central Park Animal Hospital is a clinic located on Kingsway in Burnaby and provides medical care to dogs and cats. We are looking for individuals who would like to gain some volunteering experience in an animal hospital.
May it be an individual that wants to observe how a veterinary hospital runs or an individual who may want to pursue a career in the veterinary field. This volunteering experience may be right for you!
REQUIREMENTS
- Kind and compassionate attitude towards animals and people.
- Punctual, dedicated, and prepared to learn.
- Interested in the veterinary field.
- Any knowledge or experience in animal health care is extra.
DUTIES
- Mopping the floors.
- Organizing shelves.
- Cleaning dishes.
- Observing medical procedures and care.
- Asking questions.
- Overall willingness to learn and experience the veterinary field.
AVAILABILITY
We are pretty flexible on when the volunteering shifts occur. This is a NON PAID position as it is to help students and young individuals step foot into the veterinary field and decide whether this is a career they want to pursue in the future. Volunteering shifts will be once a week max and only four hours long.
